Description

There are presently more than 350 volunteer chaplains from 39 states, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. A few are credentialed ministers, and yet the vast majority of them are laymen. There are both immediate and potential opportunities to serve so more volunteers are needed! Immediate needs include: Las Vegas, NV; Santa Maria, CA; Tucson, AZ; Union Gove, WI; Valdosta, Reynolds, and Macon, GA; Fairfield, Marion, Havana, and Rockford, IL; Cleves, OH; Gainesville, New Smyrna Beach, and Bradenton, FL; Stanton and Milan, MI; Bristol and Nashville, TN: Jerome, ID; Charlotte, NC; Connersville and Indianapolis, IN; Houston, San Antonio, and Brownsville, TX; Julesburg and Pueblo, CO; Topeka, KS; Wheatland, MO; and Owensboro, KY. The motorsports world stimulates the senses of sight, sound, and smell. A Team RFC chaplain can reflect the fragrance of the Lord in this active environment. Requirements: Volunteer Chaplain Requirements: > A committed Christian > Willing to serve three or more times annually > Complete a *Volunteer Staff Application Process: > Complete a ten-page application form > Submit with a $75 processing fee (which covers the background check and first uniform shirt) > Team RFC will mail questionnaires to 3 references you provide with envelopes for return > A background check (with the candidate's permission) > An interview either locally or by telephone
